Magnificent oil painting on panel by Vincent Cermigiani, a painter born in Italy in 1902 and died in 1971 who painted a lot of coastal landscapes and particularly the south of France.

This painting represents the rue de la Providence in Nice.

It was painted in 1933.

It is signed by hand at the bottom left, and on the back there is the title of the work:

“Rue de la Providence, Nice” 1933

We can also distinguish, in a slightly faded manner, on the back of the panel an artist's stamp with his first name "Vincent".

Its golden frame is in perfect condition and highlights the sublime colors of this painting which very well represents the beautiful colors of the old village of Nice lit by the soft sunlight of the south of France.

This work is a real pleasure for the eyes which brings calm, joy and well-being.
